VI. Working Principle of Dust Sensor LD12:

Using a laser to irradiate suspended particles in the air produces light scattering. A photoelectric detector collects the scattered light intensity within a certain angular range and linearly converts the resulting scattered light intensity into a voltage, which is then sent to a data processing system. The data processing system processes the data according to a pre-programmed procedure based on Mie scattering theory to determine the equivalent particle size and the number of particles of different sizes per unit volume.
