The Luftmed D600-MWT2 is a high-end air purifier launched by Luftmed Germany for the Chinese market. It uses common filter technology and incorporates independently developed AIT light ion technology, which can operate in both sterilization and smoke removal modes. Even under extremely harsh air conditions, the D600 air purifier performs excellently, removing smoke quickly with a great purification effect—the values for 0.5μm and 0.3μm particles can even drop to zero!

The Luftmed D600 air purifier uses our HPD05 infrared dust sensor model from our PM2.5 series sensor modules. When the sensor detects air pollution that seriously exceeds the standard, it triggers the air purifier's maximum (rapid) purification mode (in automatic mode). Under normal circumstances, this purification mode is rarely used in daily home environments, mainly because the machine is loud and has high energy consumption in this mode, so it is not suitable to be enabled all the time; the sensor serves as the switch for this mode.

The HPD05 infrared dust sensor module can detect particles with a minimum diameter of about 0.5μm and has a detection concentration range of up to 2000ug. It offers advantages such as small size, low energy consumption, and accurate data. It is suitable for various air purifiers, air conditioners with purification functions, fresh air systems, and air quality detection instruments.
