PM2.5 infrared sensor application example: Indoor air quality detector

Indoor air quality detectors can detect various pollutants produced during renovation, such as formaldehyde, toluene, xylene, ammonia, and TVOC. They are widely suitable for on-site quantitative and qualitative detection in indoor spaces, public places, living areas, and factory workshops. The detector has a built-in PM2.5 sensor module. The dust sensor module works by emitting light from an infrared LED; when the light encounters dust, it produces reflected light. The intensity of this reflected light is detected to reflect the dust concentration in the air, and finally, the data is output and displayed on the screen.

The quality of a good infrared dust sensor is mainly reflected in four aspects: particle detection accuracy, stability, consistency, and lifespan.
