Application of Infrared Dust Sensors in Smart Central Air Conditioning: Home Air Experts

Nowadays, many companies or families with larger spaces are equipped with smart central air conditioning. In addition to regulating indoor temperature, it also serves to ventilate and improve indoor air quality. For central air conditioning to be smart, it must contain many types of sensors to receive various external information, convert it into electrical signals, and send them to the system for unified processing.

The HPD05 infrared dust sensor is a sensor that detects PM2.5 concentration. All smart central air conditioners will have built-in sensors of this type to monitor air quality and the concentration of dust particles in the air. The principle of smart air conditioning ventilation is that when the dust sensor detects that the particle concentration in the air reaches the level requiring ventilation, the central air conditioning system will start the ventilation function. When the particle concentration drops to a lower level, the ventilation will stop to reduce power consumption.

HPD05 infrared dust sensor is a high-precision dust sensor capable of detecting particles with a diameter of 0.5 micrometers. It can directly output concentration values with high consistency and has obtained multiple domestic patents.
